We learned from our Improving Communication group how empathy is essential to good communication. So how can we increase our empathy? How does it develop in the first place? On the other hand, if we are already highly empathetic, how do we keep from being overwhelmed by other people's experiences? This group will explore empathy from the points of view of various authors and provide an opportunity for participants to share their own experiences with empathy or the lack of it. Meets first and third Tuesday of the month.
