Senior Center
Rockville’s Senior Center is an active facility dedicated to serving those who are aged 60 and older within and around our community. We offer nutritious meals, educational classes and workshops, arts programs, fitness, counseling services and much more. Our large center features a full cafeteria, computer lab, fitness rooms, library, community garden plots, woodworking studio, and plenty of rooms for hosting your next special event.

Summer 2022 Adult 60+ Recreation Services Guide
July - September
We’re bringing our programs back into the center! Enjoy over 100 programs featuring art programs, cooking classes, special events, fitness programs, health seminars, technology and more. Our trips are in full forces as we take a cruise in Annapolis, eat crabs in Kent Island, take a stroll at Ladew Gardens, watch a Nat’s game, and see A Raisin in the Sun at Olney theatre. Be on the lookout as we celebrate the center’s 40th anniversary and the fitness room’s 10th anniversary in July.
Registration began Tuesday, May 3 for Senior Center members and Thursday, May 5 for general.
Fall 2022 Adult 60+ Recreation Services Guide
September - December
The senior center is in “fall” swing this year with lots of in-person and virtual programs. Spend a Saturday with your grandchildren at our Fall Festival, dress in costume for our HalloWine and Cheese event, laugh while playing improv games, celebrate Hispanic month and dance the night away at Rockville Seniors, Inc.’s Oktoberfest. You won’t want to miss these exciting events and more!
Registration begins Tuesday, Aug. 9 for Senior Center members and Thursday, Aug. 11 for general.

Amenities
The Senior Center Fitness Room is open with no reservation requirements. Masks are optional.
Current Senior Center Fitness Members may use the following centers until the Senior Center has normal operating hours:
Rockville Swim and Fitness Center Gym
The Rockville Senior Rockville Swim and Fitness has opened its doors and have welcomed the Senior Center fitness members to use the gym as well. If you are interested in using the fitness room at the Rockville Swim and Fitness Center, contact the Senior Center at 240-314-8800 or email us at seniorcenter@rockvillemd.gov
City of Rockville Community Centers
Rockville Senior Center fitness members can use the fitness/weight room at Twinbrook Community Recreation Center, Thomas Farm Community Center, and Lincoln Park Community Center. Interested members must first contact the Rockville Senior Center prior to reserving their first visit at the community center. Please contact the Rockville Senior Center staff at 240-314-8800 or seniorcenter@rockvillemd.gov to make arrangements.
Games and Activities
Join a game of ping pong or chess in one of our activity rooms. Our activity rooms are equipped for bridge, knockout poker, pinochle and more.Bocce ball is available outside.

Reservation requiredA bus shuttle for City of Rockville residents is available to the Senior Center, shopping, club meetings and more. Call 240-314-8810 for reservations and area pickup and drop off locations.
Daily Lunch
