Summer Camps

Due to the impact of COVID-19, this year’s summer camps programming will not be able to operate in the same manner as planned and previously advertised.

A new summer camp registration date for redeveloped programming is being determined. Families will be notified once new programs and registration dates have been finalized. Virtual activities will be available throughout summer, including some that will start in late June.

As of Friday, May 15, the refund process will begin for all individuals registered for 2020 summer camps. No action is needed on the part of registrants, but please allow two weeks for processing.

It’s never too early to start thinking about what to do with your kids over a summer break — and Rockville’s camp program has you covered, whether you live in Rockville or work here!

More than 60 camps available include the traditional all-day, all-summer break Summer Blast program, which runs from 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m. each day and is hosted at four sites throughout the city, as well as specialty camps that explore robotics, the arts, sports, science, cheerleading, nature, theater, parkour and many other experiences for kids age 5-16.

Single and multi-week options are available. Camps are open to residents and nonresidents.
