Rockville City Police Department's new police Chief Victor Brito will welcome the community to an open house from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, featuring vehicle and equipment displays, a moon bounce, face painting, a DJ, pumpkin decorating, food, information booths, a visit by McGruff the Crime Dog, and the opportunity to meet city police offers. Officers will offer guided tours of the RCPD’s home in the old post office building at 2 W. Montgomery Ave. Free parking will be available in the parking garage at 77 S. Washington St., adjacent to the police station, and just two blocks away at City Hall, 111 Maryland Ave.
