Hazardous Materials

Rockville provides unlimited hazardous waste collection by appointment only. Alternatively, you can drop off household hazardous waste at the Montgomery County Transfer Station.

Household products, such as oil-based paints, cleaners, oils, batteries and pesticides, contain corrosive, toxic, ignitable or reactive ingredients that are considered household hazardous waste. Rockville offers a convenient and safe collection service to help you safely dispose of these products.
